Need to find time to dl the beta and see if anything has changed. Last couple cvs versions I've gotten have had slight code changes around areas where the integration code goes and my cvs version is a week or so old now.

Haven't had much time to spend on this lately, but I was trying to make the image chooser a little easier to incorporate in the integration. Want to do away with all the extraneous code for tinyMCE, WPG2 and Drupal and use the existing phpbb_gallery2 db table to get the config settings from instead of a seperate config file as it uses now.

Need a couple days to be able to work on the code a little more and afterwards could make it available on an experimental/test basis if anyone wants to help test it.

if you want to release a beta integration package for the beta olympus release, let me know and I can post it up here w/ a bug tracker.

the props for this all go to jettyrat...i've been up to my eyeballs in core g2 coding and other site related stuff...he's been the driver behind the olympus integration.

Dari, how would a bug tracker for this work? Do you think we need the full-blown readme, etc, or is just the mod file good enough for now? At least until phpbb3 reaches rc stage anyway.

I should have a package basically ready to go shortly. I've mercilessly hacked the image chooser to pieces the past couple days. The config and init files are gone. The config settings come from the already existing db table and no additional user configuration is required for the image chooser. The language file is part of the core phpbb3 language files. All tinyMCE, WPG2, drupal, etc stuff is removed and all features that were irrelevant to this application are removed.

I have phpbb3b1 downloaded, just need to install and run thru the integration and make sure there's no changes and clean a couple remaining issues with the image chooser language stuff and the integration should be ready for a debut. Very Happy

Dari, other than the image chooser issue, which I'm still working on, the beta integration code is functional. I can send you a copy whenever you are ready to host it.

I'll keep plugging away on the image chooser issue because it's something I really want to see happen!
