new guy in town

I've seen a post on another forum about a group of programmers that are working on a new outstanding API (at least they said so) for about two years that will be better then phpbb, vbuletin etc.
The name is: Zeverin. This was about 6 mo ago.

I've done a search and found no clues about it.

Anyone knows something about this ?? I am realy curios ?

never heard of it. IMHO, if you're looking for a great free BB system, phpBB2 is the way to go.

but i've read that phpBB2 has some security issues... Shocked

every piece of software has security issues. the difference is in how they are handled. when critical issues are found in phpBB2, the dev team immediately fixes it and releases a new version. (compare this to microsoft, who only release security fixes once a month, no matter how critical they are).
