Help Please

Hello, the name is Ty.
I have this problem.
When i try and login to admin you get taken to http://www.mysite.com/.php instead of the admin panel. you also get taken to the page that says: The Page can not be found.
How do i fix this problem?

is this a fresh phpnuke installation, or did you add in 3rd party security/account modules?

I recently upgraded to the phpnuke 7.8 and no 3rd party security/account addons have been installed.
