Topic Title: NukedGallery.net is no longer usable!!!

Okay, I hae NEVER seen so many pop-ups in all my life. Half the things that tried to get installed had viruses, the other half were just annoying. I understand the need to make money, but there's no way anyone's going to visit this site anymore. Every click is a slew of pop-ups and viruses and it's just too annoying for words.

There are posts on the Gallery forums too, and I'm pretty sure no one will visit this site anymore (which will suck because it was a good resource). PLEASE get reid of the pop-ups and find another solution for making money!!!

i'm really sorry about that...i use firefox, which by default blocks popups, so i didn't see all of them until i was on my fiance's computer using IE. time to start hunting for new advertising networks again....
btw, the one that was being used was "FocusIn" (www.focusin.com)...and i had signed up to only serve banner ads, not popups and all that extra crap.

huh, i dont get hardly any pop ups and i have been on the page a lot the last couple of days...but i was having a problem that whenever i was changing pages the window would go to the background and not come back, so i was constantly switching windows, but that seems to have gone away now too...i wonder if it was becasue of the popups that were getting blocked

it was the focusin banner ads, they include popup capability, which was blocked by firefox. but it pisses me off that they do that...i was just looking for normal banners to be displayed, and they had great revenue...upwards of $4 per day. even their skyscraper ads had the occasional popup

hopefully the valuead network doesn't pull crap like that.

It does work - it seems to the the Google Tap thats at fault. You can access the download section by:

But you will have to change the address to reflect the file - e.g.

is the Random Block v2.

Im sure the download section will be fixed real soon.

May be just me (MAC, IE5.22) but I am getting popups - not as many as before. Seems to be when I login after being logged out?

hmm i haven't seen any popups since dropping the old FocusIn ad code. if you do see popups, note which ad is next to the NG.net logo (the two on the very top are static) and post back here. I will check to make sure that they don't have popups associated with them.

by the way, the new ads are from Commission Junction (www.cj.com)...they aren't click-based, people actually have to buy/sign up for crap before i get any money. it sucks that it's not a per click ad, but it's the last decent ad network out there that doesn't serve up porn ads (i pick which ones i want to show).

i've got about 35 ad campaigns from 19 different advertisers running...

i've viewed each crucial ad through the banner admin interface and not had any popup appear...i'll check the rest..

Very strange - have seen the ad that may have been the culprit (Curcial DDR) twice now but no popups! No really a major issue though - only seems to happen now and again!

FYI it only produces popups when you are not logged in as a registered member. I get two popups on every page when I'm a visitor.

hmmm i'm not getting anything (using IE 6 on WinXP Pro, and i have no popup blocking software installed). try clearing all NG content from your cache (cookies, etc)...see if it still occurs.
