Topic Title: phpbb 3.0.6 compatibility

Hello,

Just checking to see if anyone had any information regarding compatibility with phpBB 3.0.6. Are the instructions included in the current stable release still applicable, or are there some different steps that are required to integrate gallery2 with phpBB 3.0.6?

I'd like to know if all works with the automatic update package...

I was very worried about updating from phpbb 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 so left it until last month. It was amazing how great the automatic update works now.

Then I installed the Gallery 2 Integration and updated last night to phpbb 3.0.6.

Only issue I had was because I changed the embed filename to index.php and this created an endless loop as soon as I uploaded the install folder.

But I am sure with the normal install that wont happen

The integration works well for phpbb 3.0.6

i got some trouble with the G2_img popup to link images from the gallery in posts

and still looking for a subsilver2 ( Avalon even better ) template mod

I havent been able to get it to work. Had it all running fine under 3.0.2, upgraded to 3.0.6 and my gallery 2 links went away..no surprise there so I went through ALL the steps of the current integration package and it produces errors at the top of the forum and on the acp, cant even see the acp pages, it just pukes errors. http://www.nukedgallery.net/postt5378.html

I didn't notice anything wrong when I upgraded to 3.0.6 because everything seemed to work....

...but I just tried to Insert Gallery 2 Image using the bbcode in a post and it no longer works!

The g2Img button brings up the Gallery2 Image Selector where you can select the pictures you want to show but when you click submit nothing happens. So no bbcode gets inseted into the post.

Does anyone else with phpbb 3.0.6 experience this problem?

how does the new window know where to paste the text anyway? I am guessing it's some javascript code. Just can't get my head around it.

Gallery3 Integration will probably not be part of the core Gallery 3 product so it may be a long time before we can enjoy the new gallery3 integrated with phpbb3

When you click submit it doesn't populate any info into the post so I assume that javascript is the issue.
I notice that view more smilies uses onclick="initInsertions(); while gallery uses onclick="insertItems();
maybe they changed some code there?

Yeah, this was not something I voted for. I know that I, along with other integration developers, petitioned for integration to be part of the initial G3 release, but it was decided that wouldn't be the case. If you want to start a grassroots effort, feel free to start a new topic here, (link to it from this thread), and i'll publicize it on the front page here, and post it in the gallery forums, as well. Maybe we can make enough noise that a patch for integration developers will be available sooner rather than later.
