I'm getting a plain blank window when I try to access my gallery.

I don't get a blank window. I can see the gallery, but either there are no photos in it or it does not have permissions setup yet.

Possibly a cookie issue. Make sure the cookie settings are matched and appropriate for your setup between gallery and phpbb. Have a look at the cookie setting instructions for gallery...

If I try to go directly to my Gallery2 path, it just says "The action you attempted is not permitted." and I can't do anything...

I had this before, and It takes me sometime to learn gallery2 permission system, I had to login as admin by try and error I figured out the way gallery2 permission system works

Reinstalled gallery, made sure Admins had full access to the site, resynced, and now it works fine.

For future reference...you can go to the gallery/config.php file and set embed mode only to false and then you can log in directly to the gallery... |
