Topic Title: upgrade album again and again

After upgrading to latest version of Gallery I'm asked to upgrade all albums and users. The upgrade works fine, but the next day when I log in I am asked to do the upgrade again. Why does not the upgrade "stick"? I have tried to chmod all album directories and files to 777 to no avail.

Please help. Thank you
