It's been almost a year and a half since NukedGallery.net first came online. At the time, the site was a newcomer to the Nuke and Gallery community, and as such, it needed to use both brands in it's design, to emphasize the fusion of the two products. The original logo:
was very much a combination of the phpNuke and the Gallery logos. This was intentional, to illustrate how the two separate products can be brought together into one cohesive web site.
Our new logo:
reflects the fact that NukedGallery is now a unique entity in and of itself. At the core, the same basic ideas and principles remain: to offer as much support as possible to the Gallery and CMS communities. But, it became apparant that a new visual identity was needed, to keep the old design from becoming stale, and to illustrate the "new" NukedGallery.
