Well, it's been quite a year for us here at NukedGallery.net. What started out two years ago as a family website has grown into one of the only Gallery/PHPNuke support sites on the web.
About two years ago, I started YankeesInTheSouth.org as a family website to share photos of my life down here in Atlanta, GA. I soon realized that phpNuke was the way to go, since it gave me a community site that family members could be a part of. Choosing Gallery as my album software was a no-brainer. It's the best out there, period.
A few months later, I started tinkering with PHP to make some modifications to Gallery and add blocks to phpNuke. I made small announcements about these at phpNuke.org, NukeCops, and the Gallery site. People seemed to like them well enough, and the userbase grew. Faster than I ever imagined.
It soon became obvious that I had to open a new site for Gallery and PHPNuke users. Hence, NukedGallery.net was born. As of this writing, there are 12662 users, and we've gotten 1569786 page views since opening our virtual doors. This year alone, we've surpassed the 1 million hit mark. Quite an achievment for something with such a modest beginning.
As always, the modifications and customizations that are available here are free of charge. No clubs to join, no subscriptions, no paid memberships.
Thanks to everyone for making it a great year. Special thanks to the Gallery development team, Tony Mayer, kit, and everyone else who has contributed to the success of this site.
