NukedGallery has created upgrade diff packs for upgrading to PHPNuke 6.9 from versions 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, and 6.8. What's better, instead of having one giant file with the changes listed, they are in their proper hierarchy. For example, if you only want to upgrade your news module, grab the diff pack that corresponds to your upgrade path, and navigate to the html/modules/News/ directory to see what's changed. Applying the diffs is simple, just type:
patch {original_file} {diff_patch_file}
For example to upgrade the News module index file:
patch index.html index.diff.txt
(Replace the .html with .php and make sure you do this from inside your News module directory!!).
We've also created a database upgrade path for each version as well.
To begin your upgrade, grab the database upgrade pack. Extract it and the run the appropriate php file to upgrade your database from your version to 6.9.
Then, grab the diff pack you need:
Extract the file and patch whatever files you need to bring your PHPNuke install up to version 6.9.
