As you've seen here, Gallery will be moving to PHP 5 only in February of 2008. So what does that mean to the users of these integrations?
- phpBB2, phpBB3, and PHPNuke are all compatible with PHP 5.x.
- The integrations will be rewritten, if needed, to support PHP 5.x
- It will be up to you, the users, to make sure that your web hosts have PHP 5.x available for you to use
In short, if your host supports it, you shouldn't have any problem with upgrading to the versions of Gallery 2 requiring PHP 5. I know that February sounds like a long way off, but it will be here before we know it.
Worry not, the integrations here will continue to evolve as the system requirements of Gallery, PHPNuke, and phpBB evolve.
